Basketball Recap: Plano West Comes Up Short

Plano West lost against Princeton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Plano West Wolves took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeton Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while the Panthers are ranked 67th).

Plano West has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-21 record this season. As for Princeton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Prosper the next time they take the court. Princeton will host Prosper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Plano West will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on February 4th.
