Tipton had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 2-8 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Hamilton Heights Huskies 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Huskies on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Quinn Tolle looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Piercen Nasser was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nick Nasser, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

As for Hamilton Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 6th.

On Hamilton Heights' side, PJ Wright was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Upchurch, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tipton will challenge Taylor at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton Heights, they will square off against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.8 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
