Baseball Recap: Penn's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

While Penn's win against New Prairie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Kingsmen never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 on Tuesday.

The win (which was Penn's sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-1. As for New Prairie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Penn will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against South Bend Saint Joseph at 5:00 p.m. As for New Prairie, they will head out to square off against Niles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
