Basketball Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Finds Home Court Redemption Against Dwyer

There's no place like home for Palm Beach Lakes, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They managed a 53-48 victory over the Dwyer Panthers on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-44 back in November of 2024.

Dwyer's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was C'Orna Greene, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 11 points and seven rebounds. Those 11 points gave Greene a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liz Lynskey, who posted 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Palm Beach Lakes now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Dwyer, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Lakes will welcome Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dwyer, they will host Palm Beach Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
