While Providence Classical Christian Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against The Fulton by a score of 41-28 on Thursday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 39-31 victory The Fulton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kate Hodes led the charge by shooting 60% from the field on her way to 12 points and seven rebounds. The last time Hodes' field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. Naomi Sparks was another key player, going 7-for-14 en route to 15 points in addition to six boards and five steals.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's record is now 5-1. As for The Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Classical Christian Academy will square off against Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for The Fulton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crosspoint Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th.
