They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rockbridge County, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Staunton came up short against Waynesboro on Thursday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Storm in their meetings with the Little Giants: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 21-25, 25-16.

Staunton's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Stuarts Draft, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
