Football Recap: Paschal Starts off Right with Win over Macarthur

Paschal took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They managed a 20-14 win over the MacArthur Cardinals. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 32-25 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Paschal found their leader in sophomore Truman Shelton, who rushed for 112 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Shelton's longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Paschal didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-7 victory against Nimitz on the 4th. As for MacArthur, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 23-6 loss against Joshua on the 5th.
