Tullahoma dropped their record down to 24-9 on Monday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They lost 14-3 to the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this game were averaging 3.03 runs allowed.

Tullahoma got a good showing from Grayson Waller, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the first time Waller hasn't allowed a single earned run since April 4th.

At the plate, Andrew Fulmer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run.

As for Shelbyville Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games.
