With a playoff win on the line, Saint Ignatius College Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the St. Laurence Vikings with a sharp 58-34 win. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 21 points or more this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Saint Ignatius College Prep, bringing their record for this year to 29-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.6 points over those games. As for St. Laurence, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-19.

Coming up, Saint Ignatius College Prep will face off against Perspectives Charter/Leadership at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Ignatius College Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Perspectives Charter/Leadership likes a good challenge. St. Laurence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
