Volleyball Recap: Ezekiel Academy Triumphs

Ezekiel Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Victory Christian Lions.

Addie Newell was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Ezekiel Academy is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Tabernacle at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Appalachian at 4:00 p.m. on the 26th. The match will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season.
