Softball Recap: Beechwood Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Beechwood extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 10-9 in the process. Everything went their way against the Villa Madonna Vikings as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Villa Madonna, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 22nd.

For Villa Madonna's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Cotton, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Cotton's first of the season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beechwood will venture away from home to face off against Ludlow at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Villa Madonna, they will head out to square off against Williamstown at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
