Football Recap: Wilson Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Wilson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 62-15 loss at the hands of the Los Altos Conquerors. The Wildcats lost against the Conquerors in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 22-0 score last time.

Although Wilson took the loss, they still got scores from Brian Silva and Josiah Lewis.

DIEGO CASTILLO was a one-man wrecking crew For Los Altos. as he threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Those 245 passing yards gave CASTILLO a new career-high. NATHANIEL SANCHEZ was another key player, rushing for 50 yards and a pair of TDs.

Looking ahead, Wilson is taking a road trip to face off against Rowland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Altos, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against West Covina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
