Basketball Recap: Garinger Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Garinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 57-49 to the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-63 two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, Garinger saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aaron Lawler posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Raymond Jefferson, who had five points and six rebounds.

Garinger's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ballantyne Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Garinger will face off against Rocky River at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they will square off against Cuthbertson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
