For the second straight game, Rocky Mountain will face off against Fort Collins. The Lobos will take on the Lambkins at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Rocky Mountain is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Tuesday, Rocky Mountain made easy work of Fort Collins  and carried off  a  12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lobos, who have now won seven matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Ross Frank made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  he has  hit this season.

 In other batting news,  Riley Honick was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, seven  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  seven  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Max Abernathy was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Rocky Mountain  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Collins only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
 Rocky Mountain's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-5. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Fort Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Fort Collins' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Rocky Mountain has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .461. It's a different story for Fort Collins, though, as  they've  only  averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Rocky Mountain's hitters?
