Softball Recap: Cook County Comes Up Short

Cook County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the East Central Eagles. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cook County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Cook County and East Central will both be playing Kelley the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Mariners at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
