Soccer Recap: Seckman Takes a Loss

Seckman and Affton pushed the score to 6-2 the last time they played Affton, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Jaguars fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Seckman's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Seckman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Affton, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Seckman will be playing in front of their home fans against Parkway North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Affton, they will venture away from home to take on Fox at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
