Basketball Game Preview: New Faith Christian Academy Titans vs. Salem Seminoles

The New Faith Christian Academy Titans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Salem Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Faith Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Salem likes a good challenge.

New Faith Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They breezed by Georgia-Cumberland Academy to the tune of 111-49. The Titans 's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Landen Render was nothing short of spectacular: he went 12 for 13 on his way to 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashtain Preston, who went 7 of 14 en route to 18 points along with six assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, Salem was beaten by Columbia 76-49 on Tuesday.

New Faith Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.7 points per game. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
