Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lakeside Dragons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Conneaut was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lakeside's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Conneaut still got an impressive performance from Lynn Muha, who had ten assists and eight digs. Aurianna Hunt also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Lakeside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Conneaut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Pymatuning Valley on the 8th. As for Lakeside, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Geneva on the 8th.
