Volleyball Recap: Amite County Comes Up Short

Amite County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Franklin County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Amite County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amite County will venture away from home to challenge East Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin County, they will face off against North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
