Volleyball Recap: Loretto Falls Despite Big Games from Tate Newton and Breleigh Winters

Loretto saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Signal Mountain Eagles. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Loretto had strong showings from Breleigh Winters, who had eight digs, and Tate Newton, who had three assists.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Signal Mountain, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Loretto will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. As for Signal Mountain, they will square off against McMinn County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
