Hough has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hopewell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will challenge the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hough comes in on 13 and Hopewell on eight.

Hough's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Harding University 9-0. Hough's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six games.

Their offense was hitting Harding University from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Hopewell won against West Mecklenburg on Thursday with nine goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Everything went the Titans' way against North Mecklenburg as they made off with a 9-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Hopewell's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while North Mecklenburg are ranked 403rd).

Hough's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those five matches. As for Hopewell, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-2.

Everything went Hough's way against Hopewell in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Hough made off with a 6-1 victory. In that contest, the Huskies amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
