Softball Recap: Woburn Memorial Comes Up Short

Woburn Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-6 to the Reading Memorial Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Woburn Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Reading Memorial, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Woburn Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reading Memorial, they will square off against Winchester at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets are facing the Red & Black at the right time seeing as the Red & Black are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
