For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bay and Picayune meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bay Tigers came out on top against the Picayune Maroon Tide by a score of 11-8. The contest marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Lakeitha Sampson - 2025 was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Madison Weems - 2025 was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Bay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Bay's record now sits at 3-5. As for Picayune, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Moss Point has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.18 runs per game on average), something Bay will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Picayune, they will face off against Pass Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
