Volleyball Recap: Locust Fork Comes Up Short

Locust Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appalachian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Thursday.

Locust Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Appalachian, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Locust Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pennington on the 29th. As for Appalachian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Southeastern on the 29th.
