Volleyball Recap: Cambria Heights Highlanders vs. Marion Center Stingers
Cambria Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marion Center Stingers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
Cambria Heights took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-14, 16-25, 28-26, 15-10.
Regan Conrad paced Cambria Heights' offense, picking up 17 kills. Conrad got some help from Jordan Westrick and her 16 assists. Conrad was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
