Baseball Recap: B-G-M Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

After losing to Keota the last time they met, B-G-M decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-2 on Friday. The game was the first time the Bears have beaten the Eagles on their field since July 8, 2020.

B-G-M has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Keota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. B-G-M is set to face off against their familiar foe North Mahaska at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Keota will square off against rival Iowa Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
