Football Recap: Boca Raton Comes Up Short

If Boca Raton was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of St. John Paul II Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Boca Raton Bobcats fell 13-6 to the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves on Tuesday. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the ThunderWolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Boca Raton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Boca Raton Bobcats face off against Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boca Raton's defense has only allowed 14.9 points per game this season, so Somerset Academy - Canyons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will square off against Cardinal Newman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Oxbridge Academy 1, Cardinal Newman 14.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
