Basketball Game Preview: Tri-County Cavaliers vs. Faith Christian Eagles

The Tri-County Cavaliers will challenge the Faith Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Tri-County is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 75-59 bruising from West Lafayette. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Red Devils are ranked 80th).

Tri-County might have lost, but man, Noah Pratt was a machine: he went 7-for-8 on his way to 22 points. Those 22 points gave Pratt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trey Foster, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Faith Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 59-52 victory over Bethesda Christian two weeks ago.

Tri-County's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Faith Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15.
