While Collinsville's win against Plainview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Bears 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jeremiah Killian, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Noah Johnson, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Collinsville's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Plainview, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
