A Season-Best Performance from Khavontae Paul Leads Ironwood over Agua Fria

Ironwood was led to victory by Khavontae Paul, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Paul rushed for 295 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 112 yards on seven of 13 attempts, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Paul must have Agua Fria's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Paul rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Owls duked it out back in September of 2023.

Apollo had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Hayhurst it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hayhurst saw the Hawks), he rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown.
