Cheylin had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Emily Serrano had a dynamite game, getting 17 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Cheylin's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they moved to 20-13 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Coming up, Cheylin will be playing in front of their home fans against Wallace County on the 21st. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Trego on the 14th.
