Baseball Recap: Fillmore's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fillmore had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the La Quinta Aztecs 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Flashes, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Johan Reyes was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Fillmore is undefeated when Reyes posts two or more runs, but 7-17 otherwise.

Fillmore's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for La Quinta, they moved to 17-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Fillmore nor the Aztecs have any future games scheduled.
