Softball Recap: Horn Lake Comes Up Short

Horn Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Southaven Chargers, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Horn Lake's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Southaven, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.

Horn Lake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Hernando on the 11th. As for Southaven, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 win against New Albany on the 11th.
