Basketball Recap: C'angelo Richardson and Jerald Harper Secure Win for West Oso

There's no place like home for West Oso, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-50 victory over the Taft Greyhounds on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in January, they had to take a 81-70 defeat.

West Oso was led to victory by Jerald Harper and C'Angelo Richardson. Harper almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, while Richardson dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Richardson a new career-high in rebounds. Amarre Sanders was another key player, putting up six points and six assists.

West Oso's win bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.

West Oso will look to defend their home court on Friday against Odem at 7:15 p.m. As for Taft, they will head out on the road to face off against Mathis at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Taft is facing Mathis at the right time seeing as Mathis is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
