It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cypress Bay can now relate to. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piper Bengals on Monday. Considering the last time the Lightning couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

With the defeat, Cypress Bay broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-3. As for Piper, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
