Softball Recap: Union County Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Union County entered their tilt with Mountain View Prep on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged out the Stars 5-3.

Union County pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mountain View Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union County will take on Broome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View Prep, they will square off against Chapman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
