A Season-Best Effort from Carson Lehmann Leads Sacred Heart over Bennington

On Friday, Sacred Heart got the W thanks in part to Carson Lehmann playing the best football he has all season. Lehmann picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 110 yards.

This season, Lehmann has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 29.3 receiving yards per game.

Amarion Holub Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Southeast of Saline picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Amarion Holub. Holub made two total tackles, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Southeast of Saline picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gannon Jacobson. Jacobson was unstoppable, throwing for 201 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 124 yards on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

This season, Jacobson has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 143.5 passing yards per game.

Dom Matteucci Turns in Season-Best Effort

Dom Matteucci produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sacred Heart to the win on Friday. Matteucci rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 38 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Landin Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ellsworth over Halstead

Rounding off our Top Five is Landin Johnson of Ellsworth. Johnson rushed for 190 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Ellsworth's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-1. Johnson and Ellsworth will take on Beloit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
