Baseball Game Preview: Bowie Jackrabbits vs. Holliday Eagles

For the second straight game, Bowie will face off against Holliday. The Jackrabbits will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bowie is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Bowie proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Holliday 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jackrabbits have posted against the Eagles since March 16, 2021.

For Holliday's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Stewart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Stewart hit this season.

Bowie's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Holliday, they moved to 11-7-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
