Baseball Recap: Livermore Comes Up Short

Livermore came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 18-4 to the De La Salle Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cowboys of the 12-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Livermore saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for De La Salle, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Livermore has already played their next game, a 22-1 defeat against Foothill on the 30th. As for De La Salle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 win against Amador Valley on the 30th.
