Volleyball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Plains Golden Eagles. The Irish were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-7, 25-7.

Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Madison Plains, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Catholic Central will face off against Northwestern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison Plains, they will head out to challenge Greeneview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
