            The St. Xavier Tigers will take on the Jeffersontown Chargers at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Xavier's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Saturday, St. Xavier earned  an  86-73 victory over Ryle. Given the Tigers' advantage  in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings  (they are ranked first, while the Raiders are ranked 49th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Xavier to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Chief Cameron, who  went 6-for-7  en route to 15 points and five  boards. Cameron is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as he's  posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jeremiah Jackson, who  went 7-for-12  on his way to 15  points.
 Meanwhile, Jeffersontown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Saturday as they fell  70-65 to South Laurel.
 St. Xavier's win was  their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 25-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 85.3 points over those games. As for Jeffersontown, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.
 St. Xavier took their  victory against Jeffersontown  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023 by a conclusive  95-75. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Xavier since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
