Liberty hadn't done well against Memorial recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Redhawks came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-0. Give the Redhawks' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Liberty's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Delila Bond, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Liberty pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Memorial, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

Looking ahead, Liberty will take on Emerson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Memorial, they will challenge Frisco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raccoons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
