Volleyball Game Preview: Timber Creek Wolves vs. Creekside Knights

Timber Creek has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Creekside has won nine straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Wolves will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Timber Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Apopka with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Timber Creek won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Creekside faced Tocoi Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Toros.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24, 26-24.

Creekside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Timber Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 26-2.

Timber Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Creekside in their previous matchup back in March, winning 2-0. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
