Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Picks Up 21st Consecutive Victory

St. Pius X came tearing into Saturday's game with 20 straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Notre Dame de Sion Storm by a score of 2-0.

St. Pius X was led to victory by Elena Ruble and Harper Gass. Ruble had 23 assists and six digs, while Gass had ten digs and two aces. Ruble has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 44 times she's played.

St. Pius X's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Notre Dame de Sion, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will host Lutheran South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame de Sion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
