Volleyball Recap: Julianna Johnston Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat St. Anne-Pacelli

The Central Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings 2-1.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julianna Johnston, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Johnston has posted since back in October of 2024.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Coming up, Central will take on Northgate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Vikings have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Columbus on the 12th.
