Soccer Recap: Vasquez's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Vasquez was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Frazier Mountain on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the California City Ravens on Wednesday, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Vasquez were already down 3-0.

Domenic Olmos and Justin Rocha scored both of Vasquez's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vasquez fell to 2-1. As for California City, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Vasquez will venture away from home to challenge Desert at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for California City, they will head out to take on Immanuel Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
