Softball Recap: Big Sandy Wildcats vs. Cumby Trojans
There's no place like home for Big Sandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Cumby Trojans 13-3 on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.
Journie Plunkett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February of 2024. Jorga Stewart was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Big Sandy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .552. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
