Mountain View has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to take on the Aurora Central Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Northglenn, who was ranked 12th in their home state at the time (Mountain View was ranked fifth). Mountain View simply couldn't be stopped last Monday as they easily beat Northglenn 40-6 at home. Fans of the Mountain Lions have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

A big part of Mountain View's victory came down to the chemistry between Mason Premer and her top target Gwynneth Marks. Premer threw for 258 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt while Marks gained 157 total yards and four touchdowns. Ellie Harper got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mountain View's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. Kendal Finley led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central took a blow against Overland on Monday, falling 47-7.

Mountain View's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Aurora Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
