Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was the 2-0 winner over Central Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Roadrunners fell 2-0 to the Lions on Saturday. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Makiya Maka paced Chaparral's offense, picking up six kills. Maka got some help from Emily Harding and her 14 assists.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Central Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Chaparral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Smoky Valley on the 4th. As for Central Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Mulvane on the 4th.
