Basketball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Redondo Union Sea Hawks, falling 71-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-21 back in December of 2024.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Redondo Union, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Peninsula has already played their next game (against Mira Costa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Redondo Union will host Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Redondo Union is on a 17-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Wiseburn- Da Vinci a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
